Tasty Source Of Omegas From Hempseed Oil

So I was rummaging through a list of our discount vitamins and supplements the other day and I came across one that I knew little to nothing about:  Organic Hempseed

The thought of consuming any kind of oil really doesn't sit with me very well, and every time I think of Omegas I always get the image of squeezed fish.  I know there are other sources of Omegas, such as Flax and Borage oils, but I never really thought about Hemp until the other day.

Come to find out, Hempseed oil is very rich in Omega 3, 6 & 9.  With each tablespoon, you're getting 2.1 grams of Omega 3's and 7.27 grams of Omega 6's.  Break down the Omega 6 and you're receiving 6.6 grams of linoleic acid, .5 grams of gama linoleic acid and .17 grams of stearidonic acid.

I don't know about you, but the nutty flavor even has an appeal that I never would have thought of.

And speaking of natural healthy oils.  Swanson Health has recently started carying a line of organic cooking oils.  Check out our Organic Sesame Oil and Organic Avocado Oil.

Cooking with organic oils seems to be a great step in the right direction of health!
